Directions to Hazelwood House

If coming from London, take the M4 and join the M5 Southwest which by-passes Exeter and turns onto the A38

By Road from EXETER on A38:

• Approx. 2 miles after sign saying ‘PLYMOUTH 17 MILES’, Take turning off the A38 signed ‘UGBOROUGH, ERMINGTON & MODBURY’.
• At T-junction turn left. Follow signs to LODDISWELL.
• Go straight over first crossroads and travel 2-3 miles to ‘CALIFORNIA CROSS’  (Petrol station on left, pub on right).
• Take first left after the petrol station signed ‘KINGSBRIDGE & LODDISWELL’.
• After about three quarters of a mile take first left (signed ‘Hazelwood’). Follow Lane for about a mile.
• The road begins to steepen and on the right the stone pillar of Hazelwood will appear. Follow down past the cottages and down towards the house.  There is an Oak Tree outside the front door!

By Road from PLYMOUTH on A38:

• Turn off at ‘SOUTH BRENT’, take immediate right at T-junction and then immediate right again in order to rejoin the A38 towards Plymouth.
• Turn off at next exit signed ‘UGBOROUGH’ and ‘ERMINGTON’.
• The directions continue as above from Exeter to get to Hazelwood. (To return to ‘PLYMOUTH’ from ‘HAZELWOOD’ you must first join the A38 as if going to Exeter, turn off at the next exit, ‘SOUTH BRENT’. Turn right at T-junction to join A38 to ‘PLYMOUTH’
